Iceland - Highlands traver

A multi-day bike expedition across the remote Highlands of Iceland.
The route moves through volcanic plateaus, river crossings and exposed terrain surrounded by a dynamic and unpredictable environment.
This is a guided expedition for a small, autonomous team.

This is not a tour, a packaged trip or a supported holiday.

The route crosses vast black deserts, highland plateaus and glacial areas shaped by wind and volcanic activity, frequent river crossings and rapidly changing weather requiring constant adaptation and awareness. Every member of the expedition must have a good endurance level, previous bikepacking or ultra-distance experience, ability to operate in remote environments, mental resilience and adaptability.
